Together with Stichting De Vrolijkheid I organised a cyanotype workshop for children from the asylum seekers’ centre in Almere. We started with a treasure hunt on the beach, looking for shells, twigs, feathers and leaves.
The children arranged their finds in a frame on light-sensitive paper, which was then exposed by the sun. Afterwards they rinsed their print in the water of the IJmeer. This created blue images of the beach itself.
